Privacy Policy

This notice explains the data handling associated with the Car Rental Alba website at carrentalalba.com. For privacy questions or requests, contact book@carrentalalba.com.

Email enquiries

If you choose to email us, we receive your email address and the information you include in your message. We use that correspondence to respond to your enquiry and handle related follow-up. There is no public contact form on this website.

Please do not send passport copies, bank-card details or other sensitive booking documents to this address. Car Rental Alba does not receive or store passport details or bank-card details through its website service and does not process customer payments.

Correspondence is retained only for as long as necessary to respond, meet applicable legal obligations and protect legal rights. This notice does not specify a fixed retention period that has not been established.

Searching and booking through Localrent

Commercial pages embed Localrent search and booking tools. Your browser connects to Localrent when these tools load. Details that you enter into a search or booking may be sent directly to Localrent and the relevant rental supplier or payment service. Their own notices and terms govern their handling of that information.

Car Rental Alba does not operate the booking payment system. Review the privacy information and terms displayed by Localrent before entering booking details. Questions about information held for a reservation should be directed to the relevant party using your confirmation.

Embedded services and browser information

An embedded Google Maps section on the English Tirana Airport page shows the airport location. Loading the map connects your browser to Google; this is an airport map, not a map of a Car Rental Alba office. You can choose not to open the external map link, although the embedded map may load as you approach it on the page.

The homepage video and website images, fonts and styling are served from the site's own assets where configured. Vehicle images and booking resources are supplied by third parties through the booking interface. Requests to those services expose network information, such as your IP address, to the receiving service.

The website's own code does not include GA4, Google Ads or Meta Pixel. The Localrent booking code contains browser-storage features and a conditional analytics integration. This is not a claim that third-party tools are tracking-free. See the Cookie Policy for the verified scope and limitations of the storage review.

Hosting and technical records

The site is delivered as static pages. Hosting and network providers may process technical request information to deliver and protect the service. The production server-log configuration, recipients and retention settings have not been verified for this notice; no particular logging or retention policy is asserted here.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, you may request access to personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent. These rights are not unconditional and may be subject to legal exceptions.

Send website-related privacy requests to book@carrentalalba.com. You may also raise concerns with the relevant data-protection authority. For data collected directly by Localrent, Google or a rental supplier, use that party's privacy contact as appropriate.
